The Love Lennox Festival is now an established annual event on the Lennox Head calendar, and will be back in 2015! The proposed date for this year’s event is Saturday 6th June 2015 on the long weekend.
The Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce is in the process of applying to Ballina Shire Council to close the main street of Lennox Head between Ross Park (allowing access to Rayner Lane) and the Cnr or Park Lane and Ballina Street (allowing access to Park Lane). This will ensure a safe environment for children and families and allow businesses and performers to use the closed road.

About the Love Lennox Festival
The first Love Lennox Carnival was held in the main street of Lennox Head on Saturday 6 July 2013. Feedback from the day was overwhelmingly popular with thousands of families turning up to enjoy music, food, entertainment and giveaways. The second was on Saturday 7th June 2014, and was significantly larger in the number of visitors to our town.
The idea behind the Love Lennox Festival is to open our beautiful town to locals and visitors alike by creating a festive atmosphere in the main street. The event also supports local business in winter, when visitor numbers are traditionally lower than usual.
Businesses are invited to join the party by organising their own independent events. The more businesses that participate, the better the festival atmosphere will be in Ballina Street in the heart of our beautiful village.
